Relax a little more with inhalation sedation

For patients with mild to moderate anxiety we use Inhalation Sedation (also known as nitrous oxide or ‘Laughing Gas’) to provide a soothing and pleasant sedative effect for the patient whilst they remain conscious.

During this sedation treatment, we place a small mask over the patient’s nose which delivers the nitrous oxide gas. The effects wear off in a few minutes after the procedure and it is very safe and perfect for nervous patients who don’t require intravenous sedation.

Intravenous Sedation

IV sedation is a stronger version of sedation which is regularly used for particularly anxious patients or for procedures that may take an extended time. A careful assessment of your needs and suitability will be carried out before this type of sedation is recommended. You will be relaxed and drowsy through the procedure making it very comfortable indeed.
